The Snowflake 125 is known for bringing together one of the deepest and most competitive fields in Pro Late Model racing — and in his first appearance, Gabe Brown made his mark. Despite a long and unpredictable weather day at Five Flags Speedway, Gabe and the SPS team delivered a composed, fast, and impressive performance that ended with a P8 finish in one of the toughest races of the weekend.

A Long Day, a Late Start, and a Locked-In Mindset
Rain delays pushed the start of the Snowflake well past midnight, but Gabe stayed focused throughout the long wait. After qualifying inside the top ten against a stacked roster of elite late model drivers, he rolled out in his #24 P1 machine with confidence and momentum.
When the green flag finally waved after 1AM, Gabe came alive.
He charged toward the front early, showcasing the speed, patience, and racecraft that have defined his rise this season. Throughout the 125 laps, he remained a contender, battling among the leaders and adapting to a constantly changing track surface after the storms cleared. His P8 finish reflects not just the pace of the car, but the poise and maturity he showed in his Derby debut.
A Full-Team Effort Through the Challenges
This run was much more than a late-night performance — it was the product of a team that stayed ready all day long. From managing weather delays to maintaining focus through hours of uncertainty, the SPS group demonstrated resilience and professionalism at every step.
The preparation, communication, and teamwork were evident the moment the race went green. Gabe delivered behind the wheel, and the team delivered behind the scenes. It’s the kind of effort that defines SPS Racing.
Momentum Heading Into the Rest of Derby Weekend
With Gabe’s strong run now in the books, the team carries positive momentum into the remainder of Snowball Derby weekend. Confidence is high, and there’s more racing still ahead.
Stay tuned — the SPS team is just getting started.
